Bio:I was born in Dayton, OH.  When I was one year old we moved to Cincinnati, OH where we lived in a three story Victorian style house built in the 1880's.  I went to performing arts school in Kidnergarten and first grade where we did drama, ballet, etc (yes, I wore ballet shoes).  I transfered in the middle of first grade to a college preparatory school where I went until fourth grade.  For some reason, we had latin class in fourth grade (who wants to learn a dead language?).

My parents divorced and I ended up living with my mother.  She got remarried and we moved across the river to Kentucky (10 minutes south of Cincinnati).  I was given the opportunity to skip fifth grade if I wanted, but chose not to.  In sixth grade I started taking French.  In seventh grade I continued taking French.  In seventh grade I took the ACT (similar to SAT to get into college) and got a 21 which was high enough to get accepted to a university.  In eighth grade I took high school level French and Algebra classes.

My mother divorced my step dad in eighth grade.  I had the choice of living with my mother and going to a public high school or moving in with my dad in Cincinnati and going to a private, all male Catholic school.  I opted for the private school so I'd be challenged.

In ninth grade I stopped playing competitive sports.  I was an all star catcher for 10 years straight through eighth grade.

My freshman year of high school was tough for me because I had to work.  I am intelligent and never really had to study or work for anything in school.  As a result, I failed English I and had to goto summer school.  I lost all high school credits I had earned in eighth grade because they didn't transfer across state lines, so I started over again.

I went to the private school through my junior year and moved back in with my mother.  My father has major issues.  He was taken away from his parents by the state when he was young because they were abusive.  My father is schizophrenic and suffers from paranoia.  I ended up transfering back to the public school I would have gone to for my senior year and I lived with my mother.  I lost even more credits going across state lines, etc and got screwed.  I couldn't finish high school in one more year because of the number of credits I lost was so great, therefore I had to take college classes through the University of Kentucky to make up for it.

I took the ACT again my senior year of high school and scored in the 99th percentile.  I got accepted to the University of Dayton and Ball State University for Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.  I then had a change of heart (I also went skydiving when I was 18).

I had a full time job working in restaurants my senior year of high school and really enjoyed it.  I didn't want a desk job.  Therefore, I enrolled in Culinary School at the Midwest Culinary Institute at Cincinnati State.  I did a year of school and got a summer job working at one of the top resorts in Minnesota.  After the summer was over, they offered me the chef position and I ended up staying for almost a year.  I was running my own kitchen at 19 years old.

After living in Minnesota for a year or so, I got a job on a sailboat in the Bahamas cooking for a cruise line that did 7 day SCUBA diving cruises.  I absolutely hated it so that didn't last too long.

After the sailboat, I went back home and finished my degree.  I got an Associates of Applied Business in Culinary Arts.  After that, I transfered to University of Nevada, Las Vegas for a Bachelor of Hotel Administration in Hospitality Management.  I worked on the strip (Mandalay Bay) running a high volume line and absolutely loved my job, but I hated living in Vegas with a passion.  Everything is fake.

I also played poker professionally while in Vegas and was averaging $40/hour at the tables (that's $80,000 a year) taking money off tourists.

(not me)

After 8 months of living in Vegas, I moved to Waynesville, NC with my poker winnings and lived with my grandparents.  I got a job and a place to live in Asheville (30 miles east) and I've lived here since March 2006.  I work at Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa which is one the top hotel's in the South.  It is only a 500 room hotel as opposed to 5000 rooms like in Vegas, but it is still decent sized with a golf course, spa, sports complex, etc.

I had my gall bladder removed in June 2006 literally the day after I received my health insurance card in the mail from Grove Park Inn.  It's a good thing too because it saved me over $10,000.

I also own a motorcycle and ride it every chance I get.  It's a 2002 Kawasaki Vulcan 750 and it is gorgeous:

In the process of all that, I have worked full time the entire time.  I have cooked for countless celebrities all over the country in the process.  I worked at the House of Blues Las Vegas in Mandalay Bay and every night we had a new rock star to cook for (we had a major concert hall).  Here is a short, but not complete, list of people I have cooked for:

Walter Mondale (former Vice President of USA)
Dolly Parton (Singer)
Nancy Kerrigan (Olympic Ice Skater)
Triple H (Pro Wrestler)
Cris Colinsworth (Hall of Fame Football Player, Sportscaster)
Slipknot, Disturbed, Static-X (Metal Bands)
Burt Bacharach (Singer)
Jerry Seinfeld (Comedian)
Lisa Marie Presley (Douchebag)
...and countless rock stars, too many to list.

I am 22 years old right now and I am probably going to end up joining the Navy's Nuclear program and hopefully going back to school to get a Bachelor degree in Mathematics and become a Nuclear Officer in the Navy.  I scored a 99 (highest possible score) on the ASVAB so the opportunities are unlimited.

I have seen countless concerts (working at a concert hall you see a lot) and love music.  My favorite band is Mudvayne (as you can tell from my avatar) with Lacuna Coil in a close second.
I love to travel and fly for free on Delta Airlines and all their affiliates, so it makes it a lot cheaper :)  Check out where I have been at 43places.com.

As far as IRC and the name "Lemonbutt":

I have been on IRC since 1996 and now I hang out on Undernet and WhatNET mostly.  The name "LemonButt" means nothing really.  Yahoo kept rejecting my desired login when I signed up years ago so I had to come up with something obscure that would be available and LemonButt was born.

I am also "User 1337"  Coincidence?  I think not :)
