Some of the moderators at the very popular IRC quotes site
bash.org have gone on strike. They say this is because of insufficient tools available to them to help run the site, despite repeated requests and ofference of help. The blame is mainly being passed on to one of the site managers, Ninety, who has repeatedly ignored their pleas or replied harshly:
"Moderating quotes for bash.org is a tedious and thankless job, but we do it anyway, out of some combination of boredom and a foolhardy yet sincere desire to advance a project we believe in. This idealism is smashed when the owner of bash.org, Ninety (or Guilty), refuses to do his part" Ninety has done the opposite of the desired effect - he is not pleased with the strike that has occured. We spoke to michael` from EFnet, one of the moderators involved in this strike:
"<michael`> on the 4th (independence day, coincidentally), the debate between the mods and one of the administrators, blaxthos, came to a head in #geekissues
<michael`> he revoked our logins
<michael`> and we banned him from the channel" Blaxthos is a fellow site manager on bash.org.

Due to the continued decline of bash.org's quality quotes (Except the old rehashed ones that are brought up every now and again that are classics), sites such as
QDB.us are becoming more popular. The moderators that were fired from bash.org have moved to QDB.us. Further information can be seen
here. Spread the word!
